| Known to the locals as ‘Alex’, Alexandra Heads is a quaint coastal community located in the Sunshine Coast. The town is typically laid back and relaxed, and a calming atmosphere can be found on the fine sands and the soothing surf. The main attraction in Alexandra Heads is the beach, with magnificent headlands and parks extending for kilometres. The beach is patrolled daily by the Alexandra Headland Surf Club. It is renowned for its surf lessons which can be taken by absolute beginners as well as intermediate and advanced surfers.
